Three monuments in Rome, Italy were attacked on September 4th 2011.
The Piazza Navona is a fountain that was vandalized by a man, he was caught on security cameras chipping off two pieces of marble.
That same day another man was seen by tourists throw a rock at at the Trevi Fountain. The police
say that it could be the same man who cut off the two pieces of marble on the Piazza Navona.
An american student was also caught by police climbing the Colosseum also chipping off pieces of marble.
They say the American student did this so he could take home the pieces of marble as souvenirs.
